The Junkie…
It all started when she tasted it, and her depression vanished like darkness in a stage light. For the first time in a long time she felt good about her self. But this feeling has to be constantly renewed like data subscription in Nigeria.
Even though she had found something that temporarily makes her forget her problems, it was like solving a problem with a bigger problem. She escapes depression only to be hooked on drugs, and when the euphoria fades, she slides into a deeper state of depression, and needs more drugs to heighten her emotions, again.
The cycle continues…. Kiss it a little….inject it into your veins….. the trips that comes with it is insane!
On a codeine diet, she slowly becomes a junkie. She prefers to be called mad, than abandon her addiction.
Organs begin to fail, and loss of memory is a normal thing.
After all her valuables had gone down the drain, now she offers sex in exchange for drugs. It got so bad, she willingly became a sex slave to a drug Lord. Just to satisfy this insatiable craving.
She’s long gone….deep in an endless ocean. Any one who tries to save her will drown. How do you hope to save someone who doesn’t want to be saved?
But at least these drugs don’t fail her… while the feeling lasts. At least, she can forget about her problems for a while. At least she isn’t thinking about suicide while the drug is still in her veins. At least it keeps hope alive.
They call it addiction, she calls it a lifestyle.
Hooked on drugs, failed organs begin to act up, mental damage is a lifestyle…..she’s now messed up emotionally, psychologically and sexually.
Now her problems begin to roll back like a ball on a landslide. Returning back with a vengeance, and twice as much trouble as before. The inevitable is here, and it will take only a miracle for her to be saved….
