When we talk about Slave Trade it sounds like Tales by Moonlight,

But these are sad realities faced by Africans with their Blood, Sweat and Might.

Lost identities found under a masters whip,

Lost identities that can never be found because of a mass suicìde in an Igbo Landing ship,

Still after colonial era we find ourselves as Modern Slaves,

Pro-colonial slaves bound by shackles of chains that will probably bind us till the day of our grave.

But we’re our own enemy,

After all like Judas we sold out brothers for a few penny.

So if we must drag Judas we must drag Peter too,

For one out of twelve Black Americans deny their African roots.
